Week 2

AHHH HELLO!!! HOW ARE YOU ALL!?! I'M SO SO GOOD! First of all let me say thank you so much for all of your dear elders! They print them off and then i can read them in the week and write what i want to say back to you and so i'm not stressin on pday. its only so stressful because i have to type everything so fast! So to reply to your letters:

Mom: Both my comps are naga sisters! rock on! i might be their real-real kasamas in the field! sis t is from a place that sounds like "kee-du-pes" when she says it, i think it might be near samoa? she came with like nothing, so we've been missing classes and important things to get stuff like a toothbrush, closed toed shoes, garments, etc. its a little crazy. its super slow going with three, which is so not how i roll- i've got my native new yorker strut down and its been hard to sloooow down. much passentiaaaaa. but its great and i love them.
      Your resort trip sounds.....relaxing.....i forgot what that word even means :) Hold up.  grammy didnt have a panini press????? she has like....an obscure kitchen tool for everything!! like a hard boiled egg timer and a spoon for sea salt! its all from shars. i dont believe in shars, or obscure kitchen tools. my theory- if you can do it with a knife/spoon/spatula/your hands why use anything else? What has she been pressing her paninis with? her hands? two hot stones? the thought is unpalateable! im so glad we've righted this  terrible wrong and will now sleep soundly at night knowing my grammy can properly and effectly press her paninis.
    As far as things i need- i think i'm good. the bookstore has everything and a half. i wish i would have known before i came with everything possible.
     I'm as healthy as i was at home. actually, more so, because i'm "exercising" and showering everyday. hmmm. no comment. um what do i love about the mtc? all of it! classes classes teaching reading all all all all all. sobrang mabuti! so crazy about our ward! it was just yesterday it split and dad became bishy! funny moment- i was reading a dear elder from olivia but i thought it was from you. "I got new shoes for the school year. they are navy blue. they are the ones you suggested". and "The ward splits sunday! I don't want to lose all my friends!" i was like....mawhmmm its going to be ok? why are you worried about friends? and great job on getting yourself shoes? for the new school year? whaaaa then it all clicked haha

Hannah: i rode a stationary bike at level 8. one time i ate a salad here. i thought of you. i cried into my salad (it was better salty and moist anyways). I felt like a rabbit (not because of the crying- can rabbits even feel a full spectrum of emotion that includes sorrow?) no. it was because of.   the salad. i cleaned 40 toilets this week,  i thought of you. i cried into the toilet bowl. it didn't matter, it was already wet in there. showering is a frequent happening here, its quite odd. i thought of you.  i cried. it was already wet in there too. i couldn't help but think- hannah's prob eating a salad right now, hannah's prob in the bathroom right now, hannah's prob showering or exercising right now. i was like living the pie chart of your life (25% salad, 25% bathroom, 25% shower, 25% exercise in case you were wondering) miss ewe bayyybeeeee give yourself a kiss for me. actually that's not possible. actually like i even ever kissed you when i was home. nevermind. AHHH it killed me when you said you got more caramels to eat in our bed!!!! I want to eat demm so badd. enjoy them for me. :'(

Livi- your shoes sound the best :) that because i suggested them and i do have the best taste. hows school? hindi mabuti? bad news: no burritos here. good news: the tagalog word for favorite is something that sounds like burrito. sups cool about the sis mish!

Dad-EEEE its so good to talk/ hear from you!! and NOOO i would not have wanted you to have driven me to the empty sea. definitely not. i would have been in such a bad mood and so annoyed with you all. the truth hurts....i'm sorry :) i had to cut the umbilical cord somewhere and the airport is as good a place as any.
   AS far as sink or swim....i'm treading water :) because its a loottttt of work to keep your head up here and not get behind and stay ahead and don't forget and BAH its crazy. not to sound braggy or proud at all, but i do have a bright mind and when i work really hard it clicks. key word- really hard. i'm getting it slowly but surely!!
   My comps are awesome! I love them! all week i've been praying for more patience and charity and you'll never believe it! last night- Bam i loved them. no time to explain it all but prayer is real and what you say about the atonement being able to take away feelings you don't want is real too.
  
  The babies: OOOHHHHHH MY GOODNESSS how was school. hows 8th grade. give me the lo-down. you're so big is cra-z! matt- hows the brace face? livi? how are those steppas working out? ab- stay sweet

AND MY WEEK: Uh wow what to say!! It was so good and hard and good and i love love love love love it! being a missionary is the awesomest!! i am picking up tagalog slowly but surely, i'm working so hard to speak. i still feel like a little baby, maybe a todder now. OH highlight: last Saturday at the temple i saw THE CUTEST JAPANESE BABY!!!! I STILL CANT STOP THINKING OF HIM!! HE WAS A LITTLE SUMO MAN!!! it was the cutest thing of my whole life. i cried. maybe i will send you a picture. (Ya i asked to get a picture with him)
 UMMM um um what else? This letter is totally lacking and i'm running out of time. i'm doing great, learning so much, and am really happy! I don't know what else to say there are so many little details but its all good. Well..... ya! Its so nice to get your dear elders and i feel like i've already talked to you and replied when i read them so i'm sorry if this is lacking :) We go to the temple again today!! yay!! i love love love love the temple! it's so cool. i don't know what else to say i'm just so so happy!!!! so don't worry at all about me!! masaya po ako!!
